Change one decision. Find every line it breaks.
A date slips or a feature gets cut, and the PRD, Jira, test plan, release notes, sales FAQ and support macros are all suddenly wrong. RippleSync finds each stale line, quotes it, drafts the fix, and hands you edits to paste into the AI inside Word, Google Docs, Confluence or Jira.
- Works in ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini
- Reads Microsoft 365 directly, read-only
- Free to use
Works where you work
See it on a sample project
Ledgerly Billing is a made-up company shipping an Invoice Export feature, with six real-looking documents. Pick a decision that changed and see what RippleSync returns. Every result is an AI draft: each finding quotes its source so you can check it.
Run it on your own docs
Describe the change, add your documents, and copy one prompt into the assistant your company already uses. Files are read in this browser tab and never uploaded.
1What changed?
Sample2Which documents?
Paste a document
If your assistant is connected to Microsoft 365, Google Drive, Confluence or Jira, you can list document names or links in step 1 instead. It will read them and tell you what it could not open. Connect Microsoft 365
Set it up once
Pasting the prompt works anywhere. If you run checks every week, save RippleSync in your assistant, or let it read your Microsoft 365 files directly.
Save it as your own assistant
Paste the instructions once. After that, each run is just the change and the documents.
- ChatGPT: a custom GPT (Explore GPTs → Create)
- Claude: a project, with the instructions as project instructions
- Gemini: a Gem (Gems → New Gem)
- Microsoft 365 Copilot: an agent (Create agent → Configure)
Install the Copilot agent
A ready-made agent that runs inside Microsoft 365. Nothing leaves your tenant. Two versions:
- Copilot Chat (free with most work accounts): paste links to your key documents; it finds the rest in SharePoint and connected apps like Jira and Confluence where your admin allows, or you attach files.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot (needs a Copilot licence): also finds decisions in your email, chats and meetings.
In Teams: Apps → Manage your apps → Upload an app. Your admin may need to allow custom apps.
Connect Microsoft 365, read-only
Add one address as a custom connector in your assistant and sign in with your work account. It can then find and read your Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF files and SharePoint pages, and, if you choose, Outlook email and Teams meeting transcripts. It can't edit anything, and it stores nothing.

What it can read
Any document that states a fact a decision could change| Way of using it | Reads | Can't read yet |
|---|---|---|
| Paste into any assistant | Any text: PRDs, specs, Jira or Linear exports, test plans, release notes, sales and support content, contracts, SOWs, pricing pages, runbooks, training decks, roadmaps, OKRs | Whatever your assistant can't open |
| “Run it” on this site | Word (.docx), Markdown and text files, read in your browser | PDF, PowerPoint, Excel: paste their text instead |
| Microsoft 365 connection | Word, PowerPoint with speaker notes, Excel, PDF, SharePoint pages, text, CSV and HTML files; Outlook email and Teams transcripts if you choose | Loop pages, OneNote, old .doc/.ppt/.xls, scanned PDFs, images |
| Copilot agent | Copilot Chat version: links you paste, SharePoint and connected apps where your admin allows, or attached files. Copilot licence version: what Microsoft 365 Copilot can read in your files, email, chats and meetings | Copilot may read long files only in part; it marks them Partial |
Best results: 3 to 10 documents per run, each read in full. With many long documents, assistants start to miss lines; split the run by audience (for example engineering documents, then go-to-market documents). Accuracy is measured on the sample project; test your own assistant before relying on it.
What comes back
The same seven sections, in the same order, every run. You can check each finding against its source in seconds.
- 1
The change
Each changed fact with its old and new value, including what follows from it, like dependent tests and sales claims.
- 2
Impact summary
Every document, whether it was read in full, and whether it is affected, possibly affected or fine.
- 3
Line-by-line changes
The exact line, why it is now wrong, and a suggested replacement you can paste.
- 4
Contradictions
Places where your documents already disagree with each other, whether or not this change caused it.
- 5
Update messages
A short note for each team that needs to know: engineering, QA, sales, support, marketing, leadership.
- 6
Coverage note
What it read, what it could not open, and what it assumed. Nothing is skipped silently.
- 7
Apply pack
One block per document, addressed to its owner, ready to paste into Copilot in Word, Gemini in Docs or the AI in Confluence and Jira. It asks for tracked changes, so the owner approves each edit.
No decision changed? Choose Check for contradictions and it returns sections 2, 4, 6 and 7 for the whole set.
No quote, no finding
Every flagged line is quoted word for word from your document. If it cannot quote it, it does not flag it.
Drafts only
It never edits, comments on or creates anything in your tools. You or the document's owner apply each change.
Reads everything, or says so
It reads each document in full and lists anything it could not open or that looked cut off.
Nothing stored
No account and no database. Each run starts fresh in your own assistant.
Test your assistant
Not every assistant or model does this well. Run the sample project in yours, paste the full answer here, and see how it scores against the answer key. Scored in this browser tab; nothing is sent.
1. Copy the test prompt (the instructions, this change and the six sample documents) and paste it into a new chat. 2. Paste the assistant's whole answer below.
Your score appears here: lines found out of the answer key, possible false flags, contradictions found, and any apply-pack quote that isn't in the documents.
Questions
Which assistants does it work with?
Any chat assistant that can read long documents: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini. Use the one your company has approved for work documents.
Where do my documents go?
This page reads your files inside your browser tab and builds the prompt there. Nothing is uploaded to this site. The prompt goes only to the assistant you paste it into, under your company's agreement with that vendor.
Can it read my documents directly instead of me pasting them?
For Microsoft 365, yes: install the Copilot agent, or connect your assistant to Microsoft 365 (see Set it up once). For Google Drive, Confluence or Jira, it works if your assistant already has those connections: list the links in the change box. Either way it reads every document in full, reads Jira child issues, says plainly what it could not open, and never changes anything.
What is the apply pack?
Section 7. For each affected document it writes a short block you can send to the document's owner or paste into the AI built into that tool, such as Copilot in Word or Gemini in Google Docs. The block lists each exact line and its replacement and asks for tracked changes, so the owner sees and approves every edit. RippleSync itself never edits anything.
Our decisions live in meetings and email. Does it read those?
It doesn't have to. Ask the AI that already has your notes (Copilot in Teams or Outlook, Granola, Gemini in Gmail, Zoom) to pull out a short decision record with the decision prompt, check it, and paste it as the change. Only the decision leaves your meeting tool. If your assistant can read your email or meetings, you can also point it at the thread; it extracts only the decisions and asks you to confirm them first.
Does it meet our security, privacy and compliance requirements?
See the security page: what each way of using RippleSync sends where, the permissions it asks for, who processes data, where, and for how long, and answers to common security-review questions. RippleSync has no certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001. The safest routes keep everything inside tools your company already approved: paste into your approved assistant, or install the Copilot agent.
Is the Microsoft 365 connection safe for company data?
It asks Microsoft only for read permissions, stores nothing, and passes text only to your own assistant. Your sign-in is encrypted and held by your assistant. Your admin can approve, review or remove it like any other Microsoft 365 app. The Copilot agent goes further: it runs entirely inside Microsoft 365. See the privacy page.
How do I know the findings are right?
Every finding quotes its line word for word, so you can check each one against the source. The sample project ships with an answer key of 29 known lines across three decision changes. Each change passes with at most one missed line, at most one false flag and every contradiction found. Test your assistant right here.
I run this every week. Do I paste the instructions every time?
No. Save them once as a Claude project, a custom GPT, a Copilot agent or a Gemini Gem (how). After that, each run is just the change and the documents.
What does it cost?
Nothing. It is free to use, and it runs on the assistant you already pay for.
